Graspable is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. You describe a 3D or XR (WebXR) experience in plain language. An AI agent edits a real project folder on your computer, checks that the result builds and runs, and shows it in a live preview. You can then open it on a headset.
The project is a normal web project (Vite, React, React Three Fiber). You can read and edit every file, in Graspable or in any other editor.
How a run works
- You type a request, for example "add a red ball that bounces when I tap it".
- The agent reads the project and edits files. The editor updates as it writes.
- Risky actions, such as running a command, ask you first.
- Graspable builds the project, loads it in a browser on your computer and replays your XR recordings.
- If a check fails, the agent gets up to three repair turns. The run completes only when the checks pass.
What you need
- A computer running macOS, Windows or Linux.
- Node.js 20 or newer. Graspable uses it to install packages, build your project and run the preview.
- One way to power the agent: a ChatGPT subscription, a Claude subscription (through Claude Code), or an API key from a model provider. A local model also works. See Engines and sign-in.
- Chrome, Edge or Chromium, if you want the browser and XR checks to run. Without one, those checks are skipped and the run says so.
- A headset is optional. The preview includes an emulated one.
A Graspable account is optional. You need it only for plans and for sending ratings and anonymized run summaries.
